Global Entrepreneurship Week Nevada (GEW Nevada) 2025 showcased the depth and diversity of Nevada’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, bringing together founders, Veterans, creatives, nonprofits, students, and small-business owners for a week of programming aligned with this year’s global theme: Together We Build.
From November 17–23, statewide events highlighted collaboration, learning, leadership, and community development across Las Vegas, North Las Vegas, Henderson, Reno, and rural Nevada. As part of the Las Vegas GEW organizing team, Alter New Media is proud to present this recap of the week’s most impactful moments.
Statewide Kickoff at Tech Alley Las Vegas
November 15 – Downtown Las Vegas
Nevada’s GEW festivities began early with an official statewide kickoff hosted by Tech Alley in the Downtown Arts District. Founders, technologists, creatives, and community leaders gathered for a full day of programming centered on collaboration and innovation.
Opening remarks were delivered at 10:00 AM by Stavros, followed by a series of community storytelling sessions, innovation spotlights, and a keynote from one of Nevada’s emerging tech founders. A featured statewide organizer panel at 11:00 AM—representing Las Vegas, North Las Vegas, Henderson, and Reno—explored how Nevada can align regional strengths to build a unified entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Tech Alley’s long-standing dedication to convening and educating entrepreneurs made it an ideal launchpad for GEW Nevada. Its grassroots culture of accessibility and consistent community engagement reinforced the theme that guided the entire week.
